It’s time to answer the age old question: is a half mind or a mensa mind better at solving trail? My money would be on the half mind to always find the beer sooner but we are about to put it to the test. A few mental challenges will be incorporated into this Moon and Swamp designed urban trail just to give the mensa people a fighting chance. So help us with this challenge. Mensa actually invited us to present our “activity” at their national annual conference.
Chalk talk will need to happen in the Carnegie III Room of the Omni William Penn Hotel (our assigned room for the presentation). As there may be some problems getting a large group of unregistered people into the conference for chalk talk, I recommend gathering in the Tap Room at 7:00 and your hares will bring the newbies down when they are up to speed. Of course if you or your guest need the chalk talk, you can try to join us upstairs but there will be no beer available in the room during this boring description of hashing. If you want to do a little last minute culling of your weaker brain cells with some alcohol, you are best gathering in the bar.
We will be leaving the Tap Room around 7:15. The Tap Room is located in the Omni William Penn at 530 William Penn Place just off Grant St. Parking sucks but I’m sure you can be creative. Any internet mapping system should give you directions in navigating your way to the down town location in a car.
