Trail

Schlabotnik the (1 and only) Russian Sausage Mullet and Just Devon will be throwing flour for a Saturday run. Schlabotnik's trail last year was incredible. Trail starts between 1:30 and 2P. The weather is looking to be perfect but bring dry shoes.... and potatoes. Lots of potatoes.

Background:
Seven times since 2001 I've thrown a weekend long party snuggled back in the rolling acres of my parent's farm. The original party was a bachelor party for Manties. It's grown from 6 of us in 2001 to somewhere around 40 ppl last year.

Details:
This is a 4 day, 3 night party. We'll be camping in the back of a field (or in the woods), sitting around a bonfire, playing paintball, waxing irresponsible with tater cannons and drinking beer. The neighbor usually invites us to use his pool. (clothed because he has kids!)

You can come for the weekend or just a day. Whatever you want to do. Dogs are welcome but there are electric fences in the vicinity of the "campground." I provide a "campground" with limited electricity, running water, a Port-A-John, music, a nearby shower, CO2 and no shortage of firewood. You provide whatever else you need. (tent, food and drink, towels, paintballs, etc)

There will be some extra paintball equipment for those without who want to play. Since only 2 or 3 of us are good at it, it's always a great time. I *cannot* recommend the Civil War style play but there will be half-minds doing that...

No registration is necessary but RSVPs help me plan. I may put up a Who's Coming eventually.

You might also bring a croquet mallet and ball... few hash Olympic games have anything on Combat Croquet.

There will be a prep weekend Aug. 14th. Wood needs to be cut and stacked. Areas mowed. Beer drank. General campground prep. I expect to be camping out that weekend too. I'm looking for 3+ volunteers. If you'd like to help drop me an email. It's always more fun than work.
