In the PGH-H3 kennel which marks the hash calendar with the Full Moon, December’s Full Moon is known as the Full Cold Moon. It is fittingly associated with the beer available at Allegheny 6 Pack and the fact that I normally leave a few hashers out in the cold on my trails. This month join Vue Gina and me as the winter cold fastens its grip and the nights become long and dark.
This Full Moon may also be called the Long Nights Moon by some hashers because if you don’t don’t follow the marks, it’s going to be a loooooong night. So bring your flashlights, cold running gear, a desire for good beer, and cash for trail. A selection of beers pre and post trail will be provided by the hares, along with some pizzas. Donations will be accepted for down-downs and all beer stops on trail are contra (pay as you go).
