Holy potato-leek soup, Batman! It’s time for the annual running of the daffodils – otherwise known as the St. David’s Day Hash. Once again we celebrate the birthday of St. David, the Welsh answer to St. Patrick. Why? Because it’s easier to stuff a hoard of halfminds into a bar on St. David’s Day than it is on March 17. As usual, there will be the traditional daffodils for the birds and leeks for the wankers to wear. Bring yer brass farthings because the hare is only covering the beer at the start and an outdoor stop. The rest is on you.

Directions: (From dahntahn) Take I-376 (Parkway West) to I-79 North (Erie exit). I-79 North to next Exit (Rt. 60 Moon Run). Right at light onto Rt. 60. 100 yds. then right at next light onto Haddock. Left into Cedar Ridge Business Park and look for halfminds on the right.
Alternative directions should Parkway be closed: Go to West End and follow Steuben Street for 4.8 miles (it merges with Rt. 60 in Crafton) to the first of two lights before I-79 (Lorish Rd. on right, Haddock on left). Turn left on Haddock, then right into Cedar Ridge.

Apres:  Back down Haddock and left at light onto Rt. 60. Follow Rt. 60 for 2 miles. Bronze Hood is on the right. Ask the server for the designated hasher dining area.

This is a POORTEX-approved event.

Did I mention it starts at ONE O’CLOCK?
