Get ready for the 17th in an illustrious parade of annual hashes celebrating St. David, the patron saint of Wales. Why? Because it’s way easier to load a horde of halfminds into a bar on March 1 than it is March 17. This year, the S.D.D.H. returns to where it all began – SouthSide – and marks the return of your hare to actual hashing, following rotator cuff surgery and follow-up physical therapy.

The festivities begin at 6pm at Finn McCool’s with the pinning of the leeks and daffodils for the wankers and the birds. The hare is away at 6:45 and the pack is away at 7pm. Cash on hand for the beer stop(s) that your hare doesn’t provide – and any possible public transit – is a really good idea. Food and beer, pre- and post-trail is on you.

The apres will be at Smokin’ Joe’s because their kitchen is open until 1am.

This is a POORTEX-approved trail.
