For our third-in-a-decade trip out to Chaintown, AKA, Blue Hole, AKA, Creek Falls (because map technology keeps improving and creating new names for places), we’ll be taking a new approach.

Pull past the Boy Scout Camp to the State Game Lands parking at the end of the road. There’s a circle and a small lot.

We’ll be on State Game Lands, so Safety Third aside, it’s not a bad idea to wear orange. You’ll be in water, so protect your electronics with PoorTex plastic baggies or leave them in the car. Dry bag mightn’t be a bad idea either.
