- If you see something, say something. You can stop bad shit before it gets out of hand.
- If you have a concern about someone’s behavior, bring it to misman, not social media.
- The hash will not tolerate
- Verbal, physical, or written abuse or assault
- Words or actions meant to intimidate or incite violence against any person
- Hate speech
- Sustained, unwelcome attention
- Unwanted physical contact
- Stalking or following
- Photography, audio, or recording in spaces where it’s prohibited or without consent
In other words, don’t be an asshole, and we can all have half-minded fun!
How do you report a concern?
To report a concern, either:
- Contact the GM of the kennel where the concerning behavior took place. You can check who the current GMs are on each hash’s pages:
- Send an email to all of the Pittsburgh kennel GMs (PGH, PITT, Tn@, DS, and Pittsburgh Bike Hash) at [email protected].
What happens once a concern is reported?
When a concern is reported, it is first documented and then one of the GMs will follow up with the person who made the report and will contact the person of concern regarding their behavior.
All infractions/concerns will be handled on a case-by-case basis with the intention of remediation. If necessary, a remediation plan will be put in place to help guide those involved. Each member of the hash is an important piece of our community and every effort will be made to both keep that person as a part of the community and also keep the hash a place where people feel safe and able to be the best half-mind they can be.
