It’s another daylight savings time, spring ahead weekend and two aging hashers are going to lay a trail for you half minds. Sure it’ll be a different trail than you saw last time. And yes, it’ll be at a different location. But we abused you properly last August, then begged forgiveness with a kickass apres, what makes you think it’ll be different this year? So with that we present to you an entirely new, shiggilicious, shit-show of a PGH-H3 Trail. The Liquher Honeynut Cookie Squirreleo 2023 Beerthday Chili Cook-Off Trail!!!

Trail will be short, flat and dry; if you believe that. Prepare to be amused, abused, beered well and be feed even better.

Note: The apres will have a twist this time around. There’s going to be a CHILI COOK-OFF. We invite you to bring a crockpot of your best chili recipe. Liquher Cookie believes hers is the best. Squirrelio thinks that his is a contender. Just Cassandra’s chili has never disappointed. If you think that your chili can compete, bring a crockpot of your favorite recipe to the start of trail and we’ll keep it warm for the competition. Our RA will designate judges and the winner gets awarded bragging rights, a quality bottle of wine and a beer that is worthy to save for that appropriate moment with friends.  Good luck to everyone!

Where: Trail will start and end at Casa de’SonOfSquirreleo (7927 Ivory lane, Elizabeth 15037). Bring a dry bag (to include clean shoes) and don’t be too much of doofus.

When: Sunday, Sunday, Sunday, March 12th. The last Sunday of winter!!!  2:00 Peee Ehm

Why: Because it’s what we do. And we like chili.

Dry Bag: Mandatory, to include clean shoes if you’re coming to the apres.

Fido Friendly: Yes. Be prepared to bathe Fido afterwards.

Hash Cash: No hash cash, just bring chili for the chili cook-off competition if your chili recipe is any good. I bet mine is better.
