Cum work off that weekend hangover with a short flat shiggy free trail through the suburbs of Franklin Park. Where’s Franklin Park? That’s what I said a year ago before Defender & I moved out here. (Wait, who are Defender & ManGurglar? Do they even know how to hash? Thankfully Green Mile came to our rescue to remind me how to hash). Oh yeah, Franklin Park, go north on I279 to Camp Nebo Rd and keep heading north. You may have heard of the Franklin Inn. It’s a famous Mexican restaurant with great chicken wings. I highly recommend stopping there for a drink or dinner before trail.
Trail starts from the middle school parking lot. I’m hoping all the ballgames are finished since school is over, but please be discreet either way if you’re drinking before the start of the trail. It is a school parking lot! BYOB for the start.
Green Mile and I did our due diligence and scouted from the car, so it should be a very exciting trail for everyone. The trail is dog-friendly—just a little shiggy. It is short, and we’ll feed yinz at the end. I hope you can make it!
