It’s that time of year again! Don your favorite costume and join your hares Entertainment Tonight, Abandoned Shit, Polka Penis, & Purple Princess, on a fun jaunt around South Side and beyond. Will there be a costume contest? No. Will there be consequences for those not partaking in dressing up? Also no. Will there be any fun to be had? That is the no-est no of all.
Jeckyl n Hyde is opening up early, so come on down at 6:30, have a beverage or 2, then ghost the joint and enjoy what we have painstakingly planned, over several hours and pints. Okay, I lied, but somewhere along the way alcohol was involved, making it a true scouting experience.
Road shoes are okay, hybrids are better. Trail is mostly road, with a good shiggy patch for good measure.
Headlamp? Yep, it’s getting darker and darkerer.
Bug spray? Yep, ticks suck.
Virgin sacrifice to appease the gods? Hells yes, find a virgin and bring the poor suckers out.
Will Smitten finally be happy that there is an on after on a Purple cohared trail? That remains to be seen, but the gods may shine upon this trail (see before about the sacrifice), which in turn will make everyone happy.
Trail is short, flat, dry, and shiggy free.
