On June 26, 2013 Cream of Mushroom and Defender laid the first official trail of the Pittsburgh Inebriated Thirsty Thursday Hash House Harriers out of Jack’s in the Southside. 22 half minds were in attendance and the concept of circle not being back at the bar was so foreign that Tight E and Just Jess walked back to Jack’s from the last beer stop, disregarding the calls on “On-Trail” from Golden Showers.”We know how to get back to the bar” they thought naively, only to realize that this new kennel would have circle under a bridge somewhere, not back at the bar. Tight E was hangry and tired and went home but Just Jess ran back and found circle where she received her name, ManGurglar. Five years later ManGurglar and Defender are married with a baby, Pittsburgh has upwards of 5 kennels and the PITT hash is still going strong.
