Good news everyone, F Dis’ first solo hare experience is here! Once again, due to a series of interesting life choices, she’ll be screwing up two trails in one week. Is this a good week to travel hash? Yes. If you’re stuck here, come meet at Cornerstone Restaurant & Bar in Aspinwall!
Also it’s 4/20ish, so the snacks will be on point.

Join F Dis on her first Tn@ trail! We’ll start out of the shittiest bar available in the area, Park Place Pub. Come run around Highland Park and if F Dis can get her shit together, there will be baked goods and food at circle. Plenty of street parking in the area. Route and circle is dog friendly, but probably not the start bar.

No Dippy’s Allowed: Remember, folks, the golden rule of this hash run is simple: No Dippy’s Allowed. Leave the negativity at home and embrace the spirit of camaraderie and fun. After all, hashing is about coming together as a community and enjoying the thrill of the run.
Registration: There’s no need to sign up in advance. Just show up at Garvey’s ready for an unforgettable adventure.
Safety First: While we encourage you to push your limits, please remember to drink responsibly and look out for your fellow hashers. Safety is paramount, so let’s make sure everyone has a great time while staying safe.
After-Party: The celebration doesn’t end when the run does! Stick around after the run for an epic after-party at Garvey’s, where the festivities will continue late into the night.
What to expect:
Meet outside Church Brew Works
Cum and enjoy cheering on all the r*nners at our marathon beer stop! Some of our own will be out there sweating and working way harder than they should, so let’s show them love by bringing them beer!
Be there at 9:00am. If you’re setting up or are planning to drive your car, you will have to get there before they close the roads (which is pretty damn early).
We’ll need volunteers who can bring the following stuff:
–2 tables to set out all the beer
–2 canopies, so we’re shaded
–small cups to hand out
–tarp and rope to make a makeshift pee place
–signs
–beer
–trash bags
–your own camp chair
You can park on the street next to Church Brew Works. But you must get there very early if you are driving! Don’t forget! Trying to drive will be tough. Here is a story that details road closures. The article has a link for a map of all the closures: https://www.thepittsburghmarathon.com/pages/getting-around-town

“Cheers to the Finish Line: A Hash House Harriers’ Trail of Beer and Relaxation”
Welcome, weary runners, to the trail of blissful recovery! As Hash House Harriers, we know that after conquering the marathon, there’s nothing quite like the sweet reward of a cold beer and a tranquil trail to unwind. Lace up your shoes, grab your mug, and let’s embark on a journey of camaraderie, laughter, and, of course, beer.
Our post-marathon trail is a symphony of scenic beauty and liquid refreshment. Picture lush forests, babbling brooks, and open fields stretching as far as the eye can see. With each step, feel the tension of the race melt away as you immerse yourself in nature’s embrace.
But fear not, dear hashers, for this trail is not about breaking speed records or pushing your limits. No, it’s a leisurely stroll through the countryside, a chance to savor the simple pleasures of life. Take your time, enjoy the scenery, and revel in the company of fellow hashers who understand the true meaning of “work hard, play hard.”
And what better way to celebrate our accomplishment than with a well-deserved beer stop? Picture it: a cozy clearing adorned with blankets, cushions, and, most importantly, an array of ice-cold brews waiting to be savored. Whether you prefer a crisp lager, a hoppy IPA, or a smooth stout, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.
As the sun begins to set and the stars emerge overhead, we gather around the fire, swapping stories of triumph and tribulation from the marathon. Laughter fills the air, mingling with the crackle of flames and the clinking of mugs. This is what it means to be a hasher: to embrace the joy of running, the camaraderie of friendship, and the simple pleasure of a good beer.

Why: To run a longer, harder trail and enjoy the shit out of it!!!
1. I will NOT scout trail. I won’t try to f— it up but if I do, oh well.
2. There will be nothing new or interesting on this trail except by accident (see #1 above).
3. I get 15 min head start for all legs of trail.
4. If you catch me, you have to give me a hug.
5. In the spirit of the Darkside marathon, trail will just be one big 6.9 inch loop that we run around for hours. For excitement, we can run in the opposite direction!!! And then we can debate which direction is better—fun!!!!
6. Smitten, who wants nothing to do with this trail, will know where we are going and (even though he has repeatedly asked not to have this responsibility and says I am making him afraid) will probably be what saves this trail from utter disaster.
7. I get to dress Jinkies up.
8. If you only get to half of 6.9, that still can be a lot of fun for a Thursday night.
9. There will be no IPAs at beer stops because ewwww.
10. Anyone who suggests PRATting this trail has to help me cohare (I’m looking at you ICP).
Shiggy: Some, I’m sure.
Dogs: That’s a hard one. We might go some places where you could get yelled at but if you’re okay with that, then yeah.
Questions: Contact Smitten. He will commiserate.
Come out and join Spinning Midget and Pearl Necklace for their BASH May 12th 2PM at B-Y Park

Maybe 20 miles of mostly flat crushed limestone and a bit of fire road.
Bring saddlebag, or a backpack, or get a mule to carry your beerstop and circle beers.
Beers will be provided and distributed at chalk talk.
On in will have two open breweries.
