Editor’s note: This faithful scribe was contacted recently by a concerned group of hashers who declared their intent to usurp the April Fools Day Mr. Johnson-themed trail previously announced by one Morticia BadBuns, a pseudonymous hasher who bears no relation to the Buns/Mr. Buns/Jagger Snatch clan.

The new group of righteously indignant hares even has its own acronym and eye-catching logo that might be funnier if I remembered anything from high school Chemistry. Seems totally legit, right?

Whereas this date on the calendar traditionally is devoted to tomfoolery, it seems reasonable to expect there will be shenanigans on trail. I can, however, promise you that:

1. there really will be a trail (unlike last year)
2. it will be worth your while, and
3. perhaps most reassuringly, Defender is not in charge of this shit show!
