Hares – Plea Barkin/Beets
By all accounts of history, Friday the 13th has always been associated with good luck, good fortune and bon temps. Just ask the Knights of Templar, who were fortunate enough to deliver their own tidings of joy to their benefactors. Some enthusiasts of the day even wear hockey masks to ensure their fortunes. To continue this tradition, two kennels combine to offer the hash what has been referred to as the shittiest trail ever to be conceived.
To comply with DS rules, the trail will start in the city of Pittsburgh. DS mileage rating and live haring requirements will also be met by taking the eagle. If you’re not up to that, try taking the turkey, it might be shorter. Qualified trail analysts opine there may be shiggy, and in typical fashion of the hares, absence of law enforcement cannot be guaranteed.
In order to comply with ICH3 requirements, at least one beer stop will be contra and occur within a licensed establishment, however, we may have up to two contra stops. We’ll let you know if cash only in advance of trail.
On/out from Giant Eagle Market District bar in Waterworks Mall on Freeport Road.
Expect to be disappointed.

Come on out to hell, errrr, Neville Island and see Krampus! Lots of flat pavement, lots of island, and of course…. all of the finest industrial air pollution that has brought Krampus back to Neville Island again! That asshole found some new terrain and he’s just chomping, biting, whipping, and putting the slowest hasher into his basket!

What: DarkSide Marathon
Where: TBC and Cockles house, 3952 McClure Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15212
When: Meet at 11am or so to go over everything and get situated. First mile at 11:30ish.
Why: To push ourselves harder and longer, but only partially in the dark this time!
The basics: We’re doing a ~2 mile an hour event, with a DarkSide twist…because…well…DarkSide doesn’t do it the easy way. The end goal is going to be a marathon of distance over the span of 12 hours, with activities to keep us active!
Some activities that we’re planning on doing: cooking food, cornhole, etc

11:30ish: Out and back, the long leg
After that, 1 mile every 30 minutes
PGH Hash, meet at 2pm, on out at 2:30pm sharp!! Hash cash is $5
Hash cash: $20 This covers beer, food, games, beer making, etc. Anything left over goes to a charity.

Join F Dis on her first Tn@ trail! We’ll start out of the shittiest bar available in the area, Park Place Pub. Come run around Highland Park and if F Dis can get her shit together, there will be baked goods and food at circle. Plenty of street parking in the area. Route and circle is dog friendly, but probably not the start bar.
