Bug spray: Wouldn’t hurt.
Doggo friendly: We recommend dogs stay home, but send the hares a message if you want to bring your dog and we can let you know the 2 parts of trail that may be challenging then you can decide for yourself.
Parking: Plenty of parking on Brookline. Please don’t be a dick by parking in the bar’s parking lot.
Hash cash: $5.00 except for virgins. Bar is cash only so make sure you bring more than $5.

Hare: Porn Again

Yeah its like 3 weeks after St Patrick’s day but we have a ton of half minds venturing across the world to New Zealand and we didn’t want them to miss out on the fun plus it might be a little bit warmer for those sultry dresses. So on April 6th grab everything you own that’s green and join Tight Embouchure and Porn Again Christian as we take a romp through the North Shore and confuse the local population. We can just claim we forgot when St Patrick’s day is because we were dunk.

This years charity will be Movember. Men’s mental health is unspoken epidemic in this country and we as a community need to be better at addressing it and talking about it openly. If you have lost anyone (male or not) and would like to honor them we will have a small place of honor for them (you will get your stuff back). There will be public talk of suicide.

What: DarkSide Marathon
Where: TBC and Cockles house, 3952 McClure Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15212
When: Meet at 11am or so to go over everything and get situated. First mile at 11:30ish.
Why: To push ourselves harder and longer, but only partially in the dark this time!

The basics:  We’re doing a ~2 mile an hour event, with a DarkSide twist…because…well…DarkSide doesn’t do it the easy way. The end goal is going to be a marathon of distance over the span of 12 hours, with activities to keep us active!

Some activities that we’re planning on doing: cooking food, cornhole, etc

Schedule:
Meet at 11am
Review routes, get situated, get ready
11:30ish: Out and back, the long leg
After that, 1 mile every 30 minutes

PGH Hash, meet at 2pm, on out at 2:30pm sharp!! Hash cash is $5

Hash cash: $20 This covers beer, food, games, beer making, etc. Anything left over goes to a charity.

Same as last year, we’re doing the PGH hash in the middle of the DS marathon event.

Good news everyone, F Dis’ first solo hare experience is here! Once again, due to a series of interesting life choices, she’ll be screwing up two trails in one week. Is this a good week to travel hash? Yes. If you’re stuck here, come meet at Cornerstone Restaurant & Bar in Aspinwall!
